My Agency Savannah is seeking a part-time Marketing Specialist. This role will support both marketing and event initiatives, with responsibilities spanning social media management, content creation, website development, client services, and special events. Excellent organization/time management skills, excellent rapport building skills, knowledge of social media marketing trends, attention to detail, strong storytelling skills and ability to create compelling short-form video content are vital for this role. This position requires 15-25 hours per week, with weeks leading up to events potentially requiring more. Key Responsibilities: Special Events Planning: Assist with planning large-scale special events for local Savannah clients including community relations, entertainment and equipment rental coordination, etc. Social Media Management & Content Creation: Create visuals and manage social media content in alignment with monthly and quarterly content plans. Collaborate with clients and team members to develop editorial and promotional assets, including copy, graphics and video, from concept through execution and publishing across platforms. Brand Development : Ensure consistent brand messaging and visuals to maintain a unified tone, voice and aesthetic across all social media platforms that also engage the target audience. KPI Analysis: Work with the Public Relations Manager to identify, measure and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to special events impact and content performance. Campaign Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams and external creatives to align marketing, PR, event and digital efforts with ongoing campaigns, launches and initiatives. Website Development: Assist with website development projects by creating site maps, drafting and refining website copy, and coordinating information gathering with clients to ensure content accuracy, functionality, and alignment with brand objectives. Client Services: Serve as a point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships through regular communication, status updates and collaboration to ensure projects align with client goals and expectations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field. Experience in social media management, digital marketing, communications, or event planning. Ability to multi-task and work within a team efficiently and effectively, while staying extremely organized. Ability to develop creative visuals and cultivate an audience across multiple social media platforms. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive client relationships and convey ideas clearly and professionally. Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to create compelling copy for websites, blogs, press releases and social media platforms. A self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in short-form video creation, Canva and Google WorkSpace are essential.
