About the Role
2026 Canon Insights Summer Internship program runs from Monday, June 1 2026 to Wednesday, August 5 2026. It is a paid, 10‑week, full‑time internship.
Canon U.S.A., Inc. is a leading digital imaging company. This internship will give you hands‑on experience with significant work projects, training, meetings, presentations and other planned activities.
You will work full time, 35 hours per week, 9‑AM to 5‑PM. The schedule is hybrid: three days in office (Melville, NY) and two days remote, unless business requires otherwise.
Opportunities include travel within the Tri‑State area (Melville, NY, New York, NY, Westchester, NY, and Roseland, NJ).

Your Impact
As an Account Executive Sales Intern, you build long‑lasting relationships and pitch the right product or solution to customers.
You will promote Canon’s hardware and software technology‑based solutions to prominent companies in a defined territory and account list.
Responsibilities
Maintain and establish business relationships with new and existing customers.
Prospect for new business opportunities and capture new market share in the territory.
Assist with upgrades of technology, solutions and services.
Implement creative sales strategies to meet customer needs.
Conduct customer analysis and site surveys.
Prepare proposals, presentations and product demonstrations.
Use sales analytics and forecasting tools (Salesforce, PowerBI, ZoomInfo, Brainshark).
Travel and rotate within the Tri‑State area.
About You
An undergraduate student currently a junior or entering senior year (Summer 2026), pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Chat, Calendar, Drive).
Team player who can also work independently.
Enthusiastic, self‑driven, with excellent time‑management and leadership skills.
Willing and able to travel within the Tri‑State area.
Compensation: $20 hourly.
