The firm is seeking a Sales & Marketing Manager to drive revenue growth across its custom home and remodeling business. While overseeing the sales and marketing function, this is fundamentally a revenue-producing role. The Sales & Marketing Manager will generate new business, lead consultative engagements, and reinforce sales process discipline across the organization.
This role is based in Wilmette, IL and requires travel throughout Chicagoland, Southern Wisconsin, Northwest Indiana, and Harbor Country, Michigan.
Key Responsibilities Revenue Generation & Client Development Source and close high-value custom home and remodeling projects
Lead consultative sales engagements from inquiry through contract
Build and maintain long-term client relationships
Pursue revenue objectives aligned with growth goals
Sales Process & Pipeline Management Strengthen CRM utilization, lead tracking, and pipeline visibility
Implement disciplined follow-up and opportunity management
Monitor conversion metrics and improve sales performance
Partner with design, estimating, and construction teams
Align client expectations, scope development, and profitability
Support seamless project transitions
Marketing Oversight Oversee initiatives that generate qualified leads
Evaluate referral and digital lead channels
Align marketing activity with revenue priorities
Mentor Sales Associates and marketing staff
Foster accountability and performance discipline
Qualifications 5–7+ years of progressive sales leadership experience
Proven success generating and closing complex, high-value engagements
Experience in luxury residential remodeling, custom home construction, or design-build strongly preferred
Strong negotiation and client engagement skills
Disciplined CRM and pipeline management
Ability to collaborate across executive and operational teams
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Compensation & Earning Potential Multiple commission streams
Commission on personally sourced projects
Commission participation on projects in progress
Commission on remodeling engagements
No cap on total compensation
