Job Description
Scope: The Marketing Manager is a full‑time, year‑round position integral to the Christian Academy School System, building the Christian Academy brand through strategic, targeted, and exceptional marketing materials and events. This manager builds strong relationships across campuses and with internal and external stakeholders, thinking strategically and creatively to develop targeted, high‑impact marketing initiatives. With exceptional design insight, organizational excellence, and a high degree of personal accountability, the Marketing Manager leads the execution of comprehensive and integrated marketing, ensuring consistency and clarity across all communications and projects, internal and external, through branding, alignment, and measurable results.
Qualifications
The candidate shall possess characteristics that reflect:
A strong, clear Christian testimony with a mature and godly spirit
A daily example of the highest Christian virtue both in and out of school
Commitment to faithful attendance and support of a church whose beliefs are in agreement with the Statement of Faith for the Christian Academy School System
Agreement and belief that the Bible is the final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind
The candidate shall possess:
A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is strongly preferred
Minimum five years of marketing experience
Prior experience managing a team is required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Photoshop, Canva, Adobe Illustrator, or other design platforms
Proficiency with content management systems, email marketing platforms, and social media tools.
Demonstrated experience in digital marketing, website management, and social media strategy
Experience managing marketing campaigns tied to measurable business outcomes
Accountabilities / Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
Establish measurable marketing objectives tied to enrollment growth, brand awareness, and donor engagement
Analyze performance metrics and provide regular reporting to the leadership team
Oversee marketing budget and vendor relationships
Ensure communications and marketing campaigns align with the school's mission
Collaborative leadership with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and faculty
Serve as primary media contact
Brand Management & Creative Direction:
Lead, manage, and execute all event‑based enrollment and donation‑driving efforts
Partner with Admissions and Development to develop targeted, results‑oriented marketing
Serve as steward of the Christian Academy brand, ensuring consistency and excellence across all campuses
Provide creative direction and final approval of major marketing materials and campaigns, including magazines, campaign materials, installations, and more
Serve as gatekeeper for brand standards adherence with all stakeholders and the appropriate application of all logos
Digital, Website & Social Media Leadership:
Lead, manage, and execute all Social Media efforts, including website content updates, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and blog applications to build engagement with families, alumni, donors, and the community
Develop and maintain a strategic content calendar that highlights academics, athletics, arts, student life, and development initiatives
Oversee website strategy, structure, and content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency, and enrollment effectiveness
Manage Canva to create digital imagery to enhance social media and website presence
Coordinate with the Communications Specialist on major announcements and system‑wide messaging distributed through digital platforms
Team Leadership:
Supervise and mentor the marketing team
Delegate projects while maintaining quality, accountability, and alignment with mission and brand standards
Foster strong cross‑departmental collaboration to ensure cohesive marketing and communication efforts
Outcomes:
Consistent brand excellence across all campuses and communication tactics
Growth in website traffic, social media engagement, and digital reach, with demonstrated improvement in key performance metrics
Clear alignment between marketing initiatives and institutional messaging
Timely, high‑quality execution of marketing materials and major events
Strengthen community awareness of marketing materials and major events
Measurable enrollment growth and student retention
Reporting Relationship
The Marketing Manager reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications.
