Summary/Objective The Business Development Associate is responsible for driving revenue growth by selling H-2B workforce solutions to U.S. employers in seasonal and peak-load industries. This role focuses exclusively on the H-2B visa program and supports both inbound and outbound sales efforts to generate new business and expand existing employer relationships. In this role, the Business Development Associate manages multiple employer accounts simultaneously and works cross-functionally with Recruitment, Operations, Compliance, and Legal teams to deliver compliant, timely, and customized H-2B workforce solutions. The position plays a key part in helping employers navigate the complexities of the H-2B program while positioning Arkansas Global Connect as a trusted long-term workforce partner. Core Responsibilities Support the VP of Seasonal Workforce pipeline, ensuring all leads, opportunities, and deals are updated in Excel workbooks, CRM, and internal systems. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring 100% data accuracy in tracking potential hires and business opportunities. Generate and distribute weekly pipeline reports with insights and action items for leadership. Manage down payment collections, ensuring timely follow-ups and accurate financial tracking. Work closely with the finance team to reconcile payments and ensure no discrepancies in financial records. Organize and schedule meetings, ensuring invites are sent within 1 business day of confirmation and action items are tracked appropriately. Monitor and follow up on active opportunities to ensure timely communication and execution of deals. Serve as a key point of contact for inquiries, ensuring an average response time of 24 hours for both internal and external communications. Prepare and edit professional emails, reports, and presentations as needed. Maintain and organize 100% of documentation, ensuring accessibility and compliance with company policies. Assist in improving standard operating procedures (SOPs). Assist with travel bookings and expense tracking, ensuring 100% accuracy and compliance with company policies. Performance Expectations Accuracy of CRM & Excel Workbook Updates — Ensure 100% data accuracy in pipeline tracking by verifying lead status updates weekly. Timeliness of Data Entry — All new opportunities and lead updates are entered within 24 hours of receiving the information. Meeting Scheduling Efficiency — Ensure 100% of scheduled meetings have calendar invites sent within 1 business day of confirmation. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree required. 1–3 years of experience in sales, account management, business development, or administrative support. Experience working with hospitality, landscaping, seafood processing, construction, or other seasonal industries preferred. Experience with the H-2B visa program and/or other visa programs preferred, including familiarity with Temporary Labor Certifications and employer requirements. Proficiency in Excel, CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar), and data management systems. Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills with high attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Experience supporting contract negotiations, invoicing, payment tracking, or pipeline management preferred. Supervisory Responsibility No Work Environment Approximately 25% travel expected, including employer site visits, industry conferences, and client meetings. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to stand, walk, and move between meeting locations during employer visits or industry events. Ability to travel and attend meetings at employer sites or conferences as needed.
