Product Designer
Mentor Talent Acquisition, New York, NY, United States
We serve consulting and private equity professionals at global strategy firms, boutique M&A advisors, and independent investment teams. These users are highly capable but chronically short on time. Their days are filled with administrative overhead: managing large volumes of diligence calls, cleaning up transcripts, extracting quotes, tracking entities across projects, and manually translating insights into decks; all under intense time pressure.
We remove this friction by automating call ingestion, transcript normalization, quote extraction, and insight structuring, allowing users to focus on high-impact thinking: deal sourcing, analysis, and recommendations that drive outcomes.
The Role You’ll have an outsized impact on the product and how our users work day to day. You’ll move fast, own design decisions end to end, and help define entirely new interaction paradigms for AI powered software.
You will:
Move quickly from concept to shipped product
Design new, AI-native ways of working with computers
Contribute to cutting-edge LLM-driven product development
Work closely with external partners and customers to inform design decisions

We’re looking for a product-focused designer Demonstrates excellent taste and strong design judgment
Brings sharp product instincts and a systems-level mindset
Has led projects independently from early concept through execution
Is opinionated, thoughtful, and eager to influence product decisions
Communicates clearly and is comfortable working directly with clients
Enjoys close collaboration with engineers in a highly technical environment
Is curious about AI tools and excited to experiment with faster design-to-code workflows
