Responsibilities Build client presence: Website, SEO, Local Listings, Reputation & social media
Drive awareness & leads: Search Engine Marketing, Social, Display, Video, and Mobile Advertising
Grow audience and connect: Brand Content Solutions, Social Media Marketing
Manage leads and customers: Lead alerts, engagement and tracking tools
Know what works: Reporting, mobile tools, insight solutions
Explore emerging technology such as virtual and augmented reality
As a Marketing Solutions Account Executive, partner with clients to deliver marketing services and solutions that drive results
Develop partnerships with large local businesses and assist them in reaching goals through integrated marketing plans and media solutions
Identify customer needs to develop account plans and custom client solutions that differentiate USA TODAY NETWORK
Help businesses maximize online presence with a tailored digital marketing approach
Leverage USA TODAY NETWORK resources to develop optimal client solutions across our product suite, with emphasis on digital
What you need to be successful Proven ability to pursue and close new business and revenue streams
Retain, manage, and grow clients in the digital landscape
Work with a team to manage client relationships and sustain revenue
Identify market potential and execute sales strategies across multiple platforms (digital, mobile, niche publications, promotions, core newspaper)
Articulate and present our products to business decision makers
Communicate proactively via phone, video conference tools, email and in-person
Conduct face-to-face meetings, presentations, proposals and demonstrations
Manage a sales pipeline and develop strategies for long-term success
Conduct client check-ins, upsell/cross-sell, and address market share concerns
Utilize CRM (Salesforce) to record sales activity
What you bring to the table Proficiency in Digital Marketing; Google Ads, Analytics certifications are preferred but not required. 1+ years in a high-acquisition, consultative B2B sales role; college degree or equivalent experience
A problem solver who simplifies complex issues
Competitive nature with collaborative team spirit
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and required liability insurance

Annualized base salary range: $90,000–$100,000. Variable compensation may apply depending on role, skills, experience, location, and union representation where applicable.
