
National Account Manager

The National Account Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans with assigned national account channel partners, collaborating on targeted opportunities, and strengthening long‑term customer partnerships. This role serves as the primary point of contact for national account partners, ensuring exceptional service, strategic alignment, and mutually beneficial outcomes. The ideal candidate is a relationship‑focused, data‑driven sales professional with strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities Serve as the primary contact and relationship manager for assigned national account distribution partners to establish goals and align cross‑functional efforts
Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with decision‑makers and stakeholders across multiple levels of the national channel partner and targeted end‑user organizations
Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive activity to guide account strategies
Lead quarterly business reviews and present performance results, strategic initiatives, and growth plans
Work closely with marketing, supply chain, finance, and product teams to support account‑specific initiative
Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed
Communicate customer feedback and market insights to guide product development and strategic planning
Support demand planning and forecasting to ensure accurate inventory and fulfillment

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA a plus)
5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or business development—preferably managing large national accounts
Proven track record of building strategic customer relationships and achieving sales targets
Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
Experience with CRM tools and data‑driven sales methodologies
Ability to travel nationally as required
