We’re looking for a dynamic, hands-on Digital Marketing Manager to join our marketing team and help drive traffic, sales, and brand growth across our restaurant portfolio.
This role is both strategic and tactical, blending direct execution with agency/vendor oversight. The right candidate understands digital platforms deeply, can manage budgets strategically, loves diving into analytics, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. To succeed, the candidate should thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment and be energized by wearing multiple hats.
This position directly impacts traffic and sales across all brands. Success in this role will be measured by improved digital campaign performance, stronger website conversion, and increased guest traffic driven through digital channels.
Position Overview
The Digital Marketing Manager will oversee paid social and digital advertising strategy, manage media budgets, optimize website performance, analyze traffic and conversion data, and implement digital tools and campaigns that directly impact restaurant sales.
This role requires strong analytical skills, creative problem-solving, budget discipline, and an understanding of the hospitality guest journey.
Key Responsibilities
Paid Media Strategy & Budget Oversight
Manage and optimize paid social and digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as Meta and Google while allocating spend within established budget parameters
Optimize campaigns to improve reach, traffic, and conversion performance for restaurant locations
Monitor campaign performance and adjust targeting, creative, and spend allocation to maximize results
Collaborate with creative team to ensure ad creative aligns with brand voice and campaign objectives
Website Management & Optimization
Oversee website updates, landing pages, and UX improvements across all brands
Ensure site content is accurate, optimized, and conversion-focused
Manage SEO best practices in partnership with external vendors
Optimize online ordering funnels and reservation pathways
Identify and implement improvements to drive higher conversion rates
Build landing pages for seasonal campaigns and LTOs
Analytics & Performance Insights
Own Google Analytics (GA4) reporting and dashboarding
Analyze traffic sources, conversion paths, campaign performance, and user behavior
Provide clear, actionable insights to marketing leadership
Track and report on campaign performance, traffic drivers, and ROI insights
Identify trends and opportunities to drive incremental traffic
Production & Creative Support
Collaborate with the marketing team on digital ad creative and campaign asset production
Ensure all digital assets follow brand guidelines across concepts
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with the CMO and marketing team to align digital strategy with overall brand initiatives
Support acquisition integrations and digital rollouts
Assist with additional marketing projects as needed
Qualifications
5+ years of digital marketing experience
Hospitality or multi-unit restaurant experience strongly preferred
Strong proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4)
Experience with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and paid search
Experience with location-based or geo-targeted digital marketing campaigns
Experience collaborating with agencies while maintaining internal control
Working knowledge of SEO best practices
Experience with website CMS platforms
Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into action
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Self-starter with a “no task too small” mentality

Based out of home office in Chicago; three days in office, two remote
Must be able to sit at a desk and use hands and fingers to utilize computer/type
Must have good hearing for accurate communication with Bottleneck Management employees
Must be able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs
