The Marketing Assistant (Part-Time / Intern) will support the Marketing team across event planning, content development, and day-to-day campaign execution. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented college student who is interested in gaining hands-on experience in B2B marketing and event coordination. The position combines creative marketing support with operational responsibilities, including preparing for trade shows and events, managing marketing materials, supporting digital campaigns, and collaborating closely with the broader marketing team. The Marketing Assistant will play a key role in ensuring marketing initiatives and events are well-organized, on schedule, and executed smoothly. This role offers meaningful exposure to real-world marketing projects, industry events, and technology-focused campaigns, along with mentorship and the opportunity to build practical, resume-ready experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Event Planning & Organization Assist with planning and preparation for trade shows, conferences, and virtual events Help organize, pack, and ship marketing materials, swag, signage, and booth assets for events Maintain event checklists, timelines, and inventory to ensure nothing is missed Support post-event follow-up, including organizing leads, materials, and notes Assist with coordinating logistics such as schedules, registrations, and event communications Marketing & Content Support Assist with writing, editing, and proofreading marketing content, including: Social media posts Website and blog content Email marketing copy Help schedule and manage social media posts (primarily LinkedIn) Support email marketing campaigns, including list organization, content setup, and basic performance tracking Assist with maintaining and organizing marketing data in our CRM system Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and customer audiences Collaborate with the marketing team to create visual content and graphics using Canva or similar tools Provide general team support to ensure campaigns and events stay on track What We’re Looking For Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field Strong organizational skills and attention to detail (you like lists and checklists) Interest in marketing, events, or brand-building Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Comfortable with Microsoft Office and social media platforms Experience with Canva is a plus Self-motivated, reliable, and eager to learn What You’ll Gain Hands-on experience building marketing collateral and event planning Exposure to B2B technology marketing and industry trade show planning Real responsibility and ownership over projects Mentorship from experienced marketing professionals Flexible, part-time schedule (20-25 hours per week) Resume-worthy experience with tangible, real-world outcomes #J-18808-Ljbffr
