Job Description:
The Business Development Marketing Lead plays a key role in driving brand awareness, market presence, and early engagement with developers and industry professionals. This position sits at the intersection of marketing, relationship development, and event coordination, requiring a highly organized and socially confident individual who thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing and networking events (happy hours, industry events, community gatherings, etc.)
Represent the organization at events across Texas, including Austin, Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas
Build and maintain relationships with developers, builders, and industry professionals
Attend industry events, city meetings, and community functions to increase brand visibility
Track market activity including growth corridors, development projects, and industry trends
Support proposal development by gathering relevant project and market data
Manage event budgets and ensure professional representation at all functions
Provide insights to leadership on market trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required (Marketing or related field preferred)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously
Comfortable networking and engaging in social, professional environments
Ability to travel regularly across Texas (~2 nights per week)
Professional presence with the ability to represent the organization effectively
Additional Details:
Full-time, hybrid position (3 days in office, flexibility offered)
Travel required across Texas markets
Company vehicle provided
