R10082189 Account Manager – Outside Sales (Open) Location Anchorage, AK – Branch ALALP, Retail shop Overview Airgas is hiring an Outside Sales Representative who will act as a strategic partner, manage existing portfolios, and pursue new growth opportunities within the territory. Competitive base salary 70/30 base/commission target and $600/month car allowance with mileage/expense reimbursement. Key Responsibilities Build strong relationships with branch personnel and create open communication with branch managers to grow and support business. Actively pursue and acquire new and competitive accounts, emphasizing gases, business, and product supply agreements. Manage customers and sales opportunities through Salesforce. Schedule joint sales calls with vendors and Airgas Product Specialists. Provide tailored solutions across manufacturing, oil & gas, healthcare, life sciences, food & beverage, and other sectors, ensuring processes remain efficient and safe. Required Qualifications Proficiency working with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred. 3+ years experience in industrial sales. 5+ years experience in outside sales. Welding and compressed gases product knowledge.
