Marketing Support and Admin Coordinator – £15 to £16 per hour Our expanding Garden Centre business is seeking a Marketing Support and Admin Coordinator to join our head office team. This full-time role is based at our Newton Abbot garden centre and will involve occasional travel to our other sites across the South West. This is a versatile position combining traditional administrative responsibilities with marketing office support and project coordination. The successful candidate will work closely with our marketing team, taking on delegated tasks, overseeing daily operations and consistently completing clerical tasks. Details of this role: 35+ hours per week Holiday is pro rata based on days worked – approx. 28 days The role will be supported by full on-site training by our office managers and marketing team We can offer between £28,000 and £32,000 depending on your experience and suitability We are a consistently profitable company and can therefore offer excellent career opportunities for applicants looking for a long-term career path with secure permanent employment No. of Vacancies 1 Specific Skills Strong administrative and organisational skills Experience in project coordination or operational support Good understanding of Microsoft Office and general IT systems Ability to be flexible on work duties Good levels of English – both spoken and written Preferable: prior experience in a retail, operations, or marketing support environment Responsible For Manage sundries stock and place orders Monitor inbox and respond to help emails (queries, refunds, complaints) Book services and repairs for vehicles and machinery Oversee driver hours, tacho cards, and compliance checks Assist with ad hoc purchases and cost analysis Support marketing team with delegated admin tasks (e.g., product reviews, campaign logistics) Occasional store visits and manual support when required Project oversight — ensuring tasks are completed on time and communicated clearly Other duties as required to help run the business as part of our head office team The role would suit applicants who want to be fully committed to the company and can actively impact the success of the business as part of our larger management team. This is a full time position working alongside our experienced department head. This position is mainly located at our Newton Abbot site just outside of town.
