Utilize a clear framework to prioritize initiatives aligned with the company’s vision, objectives, and cultural values. Relationship Building Authentic Connections: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with premium and luxury travel partners, key accounts, and stakeholders to foster long-term loyalty and strengthen market presence. Market Expansion Strategic Insights: Identify new market segments and emerging trends. Use data-driven analysis to guide business development strategies and proactively respond to market demands. Performance Excellence Accountability and Empowerment: Drive results by setting clear expectations, accountability, and exceeding performance metrics. Foster collaboration, open communication, and constructive feedback. Brand Advocacy Passionate Representation: Serve as a brand advocate by effectively showcasing premium and luxury travel experiences and aligning efforts with brand messaging. Client Acquisition Targeted Engagement: Lead initiatives to acquire high-value clients. Develop tailored proposals and presentations that communicate the company’s unique value propositions. Partnership Development Strategic Alliances: Establish partnerships with travel agencies, premium and luxury brands, and corporate clients. Negotiate agreements that enhance market positioning and mutual growth. Networking and Representation Industry Engagement: Represent the company at industry events and conferences. Build relationships with decision-makers and influencers to enhance business opportunities. Revenue Growth Market Share Expansion: Execute strategies to increase market share and revenue. Monitor KPIs related to business development and refine strategies as needed. Proposal Development Compelling Narratives: Oversee the creation of proposals and pitches in collaboration with marketing and product teams to ensure brand and service alignment. Collaboration and Internal Alignment Cross-Departmental Synergy: Partner with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align new initiatives with strategic and operational objectives. Best Practices: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and business development best practices to improve processes and outcomes. Reporting and Analysis Data-Driven Insights: Provide regular reports to senior management on progress, targets, and market insights using data to optimize performance. Qualifications & Skills In line with Classic’s values of continuous improvement and organizational health, we seek a leader who exemplifies technical expertise and collaboration. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or Communications required; Master’s degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in business development or sales, with a proven record of driving revenue growth, ideally within the premium and luxury travel industry. Experience managing complex sales territories and exceeding targets. Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop long-term plans aligned with company objectives and navigate complex business environments using data-driven insights. Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including proposal and presentation development. Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities. Relationship Building: Proven ability to build and maintain industry relationships using an established professional network. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities with experience using CRM and sales analytics tools such as Salesforce and Tableau. Results-Oriented: Demonstrated success delivering measurable outcomes and driving sales growth. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and creatively across diverse audiences. Willingness to Travel: Availability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events. Familiarity with travel destinations, cultural nuances, and travel regulations.
