Reports to: Commercial Director / Management Location: Germany (remote/hybrid) Market: Germany Travel Requirement: Regular travel within Germany + monthly travel to Haarlem, The Netherlands Role Overview Kooduu is a design-driven consumer electronics and lifestyle brand combining audio and lighting products. We are seeking a commercially driven and well-connected Account Manager – B2B Retail Germany to develop and expand our retail presence in the German market. This role focuses on building strong relationships with retail partners, driving revenue growth, and expanding Kooduu’s footprint across relevant channels, including consumer electronics, interior, furniture, design, and lifestyle retail. The ideal candidate brings an existing network within the German market and is comfortable working independently while staying closely aligned with the team in Haarlem. Key Responsibilities Retail Account Management & Relationship Development Manage and grow direct B2B retail accounts across Germany Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, store owners, and category managers Act as the primary commercial contact for retail partners Ensure consistent brand presentation and positioning across retail accounts Business Development & Market Expansion Identify, approach, and onboard new retail partners across consumer electronics, interior, furniture, design, and lifestyle retail Leverage existing network to accelerate German market penetration Expand Kooduu’s retail footprint in line with commercial objectives Continuously identify new opportunities within the German market Revenue Growth & Commercial Execution Drive revenue growth through sell-in, repeat orders, and product assortment expansion Support seasonal campaigns, product launches, and in-store activations Monitor account performance and proactively identify growth opportunities Ensure consistent follow-up and account development Maintain a structured and up-to-date sales pipeline Ensure visibility on opportunities, forecasts, and account development Track sales performance and report regularly to management Contribute to market insights and commercial planning Market Presence & Internal Alignment Travel regularly within Germany to visit prospects, accounts, fairs and develop relationships Visit Kooduu HQ in Haarlem on a monthly basis for alignment, planning, and review Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, operations, management) to support retail success Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and retail developments Success Criteria Success in this role will be measured by Growth of the retail account base in Germany Strong and active relationships with key retail partners in Germany Consistent revenue growth and repeat business Effective use of network to open new accounts Structured pipeline management and clear market visibility Required Qualifications & Experience 3–6 years of experiencein B2B retail sales or account management Strong understanding of the German retail landscape, including consumer electronics and lifestyle channels Existing network within relevant retail segments Proven ability to open and grow retail accounts Strong commercial and relationship management skills Ability to work independently with a high level of ownership Willingness to travel regularly within Germany and monthly to the Netherlands Preferred Qualifications Experience with consumer electronics, lighting, or design-oriented products Experience working with international brands or companies Understanding of in-store merchandising and retail presentation Languages Native German (required) Professional level English What We Offer Competitive salary with performance-based incentive structure High level of ownership and responsibility for the German market Opportunity to contribute directly to the growth of the company Collaborative and entrepreneurial team environment How to Apply Are you the enthusiastic, hands-on team player we’re looking for?
