
Public Relations Intern

We are an idea-first, tech only PR agency. Griffin360 is looking for our next summer intern to join an energetic team and generate media results for some of the most innovative companies in the B2B and B2C technology space.
Responsibilities for this paid position include, but are not limited to:
Developing creative ideas for feature stories and newsjacking opportunities, and drafting corresponding pitches.
Researching, building, and maintaining targeted media lists across consumer and trade media markets.
Managing and scheduling the distribution of press releases.
Monitoring, tracking, and reporting daily press coverage for all clients.
Participating in internal brainstorms and client meetings to support campaign strategy and execution.
Must be available 37 hours a week – 9am - 5pm Monday through Thursday, and 9am - 2pm Friday. Ideally beginning mid-May (exact start date is flexible).
Must be located in or willing to commute to NYC – this is a hybrid position (2X days in person/ week).
Qualifications include:
Someone who can write. Whether it be a pitch to a journalist or a coverage recap email, you can clearly and succinctly communicate a message.
Someone who is intellectually curious and likes to learn; who is in-the-know and up-to-date on current events and trends.
Someone who is proactive and takes ownership of their work. Like the rest of our team, our interns are expected to own and manage their individual tasks. We want someone who takes pride in their work!
