Role Overview
We are hiring an Account Executive to own and grow client relationships across N2’s full range of services: Marketing, IT, and Business Solutions. This role is focused on growth-driven businesses, organizations that have built something real but are now feeling the weight of disconnected vendors, manual processes, and limited visibility into what’s actually working.
Think construction companies, HVAC firms, plumbing businesses, landscapers, franchise operators, and similar organizations that have grown through grit but need coordinated support to scale further. These businesses don’t need another vendor. They need one team that understands the full picture and can bring IT, marketing, and operations together.
This is not a transactional sales role. You will be a consultative partner who understands how these businesses actually run. You will help owners and operators see the hidden costs of chaos and show them what changes when their IT, marketing, and business operations are managed by one team that actually talks to each other.
This role sits within a lean, high-impact sales organization reporting to the Sales Manager. You will ramp under direct mentorship during the first few months, then transition into full ownership of a portfolio of operational business accounts.
Industries You Will Serve
You will own relationships with growth-driven businesses where technology is a revenue lever, not just a cost center. Typical clients include organizations in home and field services, fitness and wellness, retail, eCommerce, franchises, hospitality, entertainment, automotive, construction, and real estate. Some industries may align with either AE role depending on how the specific buyer purchases and where their primary growth needs sit.
Key Responsibilities
Own and grow a portfolio of operational business accounts, driving long-term engagement and trust.
Lead discovery and client strategy sessions to uncover where the business is leaking money, where growth has stalled, and where better coordination across services would make a real difference.
Guide prospects to the right starting point based on their size, maturity, and most pressing needs.
Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships by bringing in additional services across IT, Marketing, and Business Solutions as needs evolve.
Maintain accurate CRM records (Salesforce), provide forecasting, and contribute to weekly client reviews to surface and act on expansion potential.
Deliver end-to-end client engagement, from onboarding and QBRs to renewals and Discovery Calls, ensuring alignment with business outcomes.
Compensation Structure
Base Salary: $70,000 - $80,000
Revenue Variable (Quarterly): 3-5% of gross profit from managed accounts
Growth Bonus (Annual): 2-3% on incremental revenue growth from existing accounts
SPIFFs: Targeted bonuses for service expansions, package wins, and retention milestones
OTE: $120,000 - $140,000
Qualifications
3+ years of B2B account management or consultative sales experience, ideally selling to operational or field-service businesses.
Proven track record of multi-service relationships.
Understanding of how operational businesses run: quoting, scheduling, dispatch, job costing, and the pain of disconnected systems.
Proven ability to manage complex relationships and drive long-term client value over transactional wins.
Strong communication, presentation, and business acumen.
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with technical and marketing delivery teams.
CRM proficiency (Salesforce preferred).
Naturally relationship-oriented, operationally curious, and motivated by seeing clients replace chaos with clarity.
