About the Business Development in Staffing Sales:
This Business Development Manager will be responsible for the cultivation, administration, and maintenance of the client relationship, building relationships with clients through the delivery of exceptional customer service characterized by mutual respect, understanding, and trust.
Business Development Manager Profile:
The ideal candidate will have an existing book of business or client relationships in a similar or different vertical domain. This person will have a “hunter” mentality that can generate new business. This person will be a self-starter driven by success. A successful Business Development Manager will not only hunt for new business but will also build relationships and bring in additional revenue through established clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Utilize their existing book of business and develop new business through cold calling, skill marketing, and premise visits.
• Prepare and present professional services proposals.
• Consult with hiring managers and vendor managers to understand hiring requirements.
• Guide clients thorough the staffing process, ensuring they have full clarity of expectations.
• Manage relationships throughout the assignment; expand company presence within existing client accounts.
• Continuously expand the client base through ongoing new business development.
• Identify candidates based on client’s needs.
• Manage the recruitment process from identification to successful closure.
• Negotiate pay rates, bill rates, perm fees, and guarantees.
• Resolve billing, payment, and aging issues with clients, third party
Qualifications/Requirements:
• BA/BS degree preferred
• Successful staff augmentation experience
• Ability to develop customer relationship management, consultative and negotiation skills.
• Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to self-manage, prioritize initiatives and work well in a team environment with competing demands and tight deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy.
• Competitive/performance-oriented individual who is driven to achieve goals
• High energy and always looking to improve
• Self-starter that takes action without being instructed
• Persistence and superb follow up
Schedule: hybrid 2x per week Tues & Thurs may be moving to 3x week in office
