Backed by our trusted leadership team, Kind Lending's friendly and professional model puts the “fun” in funding Position Summary The Account Manager is the main point of contact for Brokers and Account Executives on all loans in process and is responsible for managing communication, clearing assigned tasks, and facilitating progression of the loan file toward clear-to-close. This role operates within a fast-paced, service-oriented environment and must balance pipeline management with a high standard of customer responsiveness. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for Brokers and Account Executives on all loans in process. Respond to inbound inquiries and manage outbound communication to support loan progression. Act as the liaison between Brokers, Account Executives, and internal departments including underwriting, closing, and compliance. Review and clear conditions assigned to the AM team within established service level agreements. Maintain accurate and up-to-date pipeline notes and status updates within the Loan Origination System (LOS). Collaborate with internal teams to identify and resolve file issues impeding progression. Support compliance with TRID, RESPA, and all applicable federal and state regulations throughout the loan process. Ensure all loans in pipeline are tracked and progressing toward clear-to-close within established service level agreements (SLAs). Document and communicate loan status updates via LOS notes, ensuring audit trail integrity. Collaborate with internal compliance and operations teams to flag and resolve regulatory risk items. Support ECOA/HMDA data integrity by confirming accurate borrower demographic and loan data throughout the process. Qualifications Prior experience as an Account Manager, Broker Advocate, or in a similar role within the mortgage industry preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate in a professional and timely manner. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage a pipeline of loans simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn new systems and technology quickly. High School diploma or GED equivalent required; college education preferred. Familiarity with TRID, RESPA, and applicable federal and state mortgage regulations. Experience with Loan Origination Systems (LOS). Ability to manage a high-volume pipeline with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills with a service-first mentality aligned with TPO channel expectations. Pay Disclosure The starting base hourly pay range for this position is $26/hr. The actual base is dependent on many factors such as work experience, business needs, market demands, and other compensation components. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
