Role Overview The Senior Video Editor owns the full post-production lifecycle across multiple video formats, including editing, motion graphics, audio cleanup, color correction, and final delivery. The role requires independent work, high creative standards, and producing content that is engaging and retention-driven. Key Responsibilities Edit long-form and short-form video content using Adobe Premiere Pro Manage end-to-end post-production from raw footage to final output Source, organize, and integrate archival footage as needed Create custom motion graphics and original visual elements using After Effects Ensure visual consistency and alignment with brand guidelines Perform audio cleanup, balancing, and light sound design Apply color correction and basic color grading Ensure all deliverables meet quality, brand, and delivery standards Collaborate asynchronously with internal stakeholders and creative leads Manage assets, timelines, and workflows using tools such as Notion, Lucidlink, or similar platforms Maintain strong attention to detail across all stages of post-production Required Hard Skills Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro Strong After Effects skills, including custom motion graphics Experience owning full-cycle post-production workflows Solid understanding of audio cleanup, color correction, and export standards Familiarity with modern post-production collaboration tools Ability to work efficiently with large media files in a remote environment Excellent visual taste and editorial judgment Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and audience retention Highly detail-oriented and process-driven Proactive, reliable, and comfortable working independently Clear communicator in remote, asynchronous environments Why This Role Matters This role ensures the delivery of polished, engaging, and retention-focused video content.
