Insomniac Clubs - Marketing Assistant - Glendale, CA Base pay range: $18.00/hr - $20.00/hr Overview The Marketing Assistant’s primary role is to support the Marketing department in executing the marketing strategy and assist with administrative and social duties. This position is full-time, in-person, based in Glendale, CA, and on-site at various event locations as needed. The role involves promoting shows on social media across multiple channels, creating engaging content, and helping organize administrative tasks for the Marketing Coordinators and Managers. Responsibilities Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities Support the marketing team in organizing projects such as college & influencer outreach, promotions, and experience activations at club shows Attend various club shows to assist with posting on socials, content creation, and activation facilitation Ideate and create content for brand awareness (e.g., viral TikToks, reels, memes) Gather weekly social media insights and marketing trends across platforms Respond to DMs, comments, and questions to help ensure customer satisfaction Assist in onboarding and training new team members as needed Participate in other special projects as assigned Qualifications Four-year degree in an applicable field of study 1 year experience preferred Active social media user (TikTok, Instagram, Threads, Facebook, X, YouTube, Snapchat) Proficient with Microsoft Word & Excel, Google Docs & Sheets Familiar with electronic music artists/DJs and the culture behind it Desire to work in the entertainment industry Self-motivated, task-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment Work Environment Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels and busy environments in dynamic work locations Must be willing to travel to work during holidays, evenings, and weekends as required to meet deadlines and work events Equal Employment Opportunity and Hiring Practices Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization, which does not require sponsorship by Insomniac for a visa.
