Position Summary DS Automotion is seeking a Sales Engineer with strong sales presentation experience to support both inside and outside sales activities. This role requires the ability to confidently present technical automation solutions to customers at all levels, from engineering teams to executive decision-makers, while proactively contacting leads, developing new client relationships, and supporting daily local travel to customer sites. Key Responsibilities Qualify inbound leads and support opportunity development Proactively contact inbound and outbound sales leads via phone, email, and virtual meetings Prepare proposals, quotations, and technical documentation Maintain sales activity and opportunity data. Outside Sales Develop and manage customer relationships within assigned territory Bring in new clients through proactive outreach, networking, and field sales activity Conduct daily local travel for customer meetings, site visits, and needs assessments Identify automation opportunities and propose AGV/AMR solutions Support contract discussions and project handoff Develop and deliver professional sales presentations tailored to customer needs Present system concepts, layouts, ROI justifications, and technical solutions Lead customer meetings, both in-person and virtual Performance Expectations Consistently contact and qualify new leads to maintain a healthy sales pipeline Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly lead activity goals Performance Expectations Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly lead activity goals Develop and manage a sales pipeline aligned with annual revenue targets Achieve defined new customer acquisition and revenue goals Accurately forecast opportunities and report progress Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field (or equivalent experience) Experience in technical sales with demonstrated sales presentation experience Proven ability to contact leads and generate new business Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills Ability to clearly explain complex automation systems to diverse audiences Ability and willingness to support daily local travel Preferred Qualifications Experience with AGVs, AMRs, or material handling equipment (highly desired) Background in industrial automation, robotics, or intralogistics Experience presenting to automotive or manufacturing customers Familiarity with tools and presentation software (PowerPoint, Teams, etc.) What We Offer Mileage reimbursement for business-related travel Opportunity to represent advanced automation technologies Supportive, growth-focused work environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
