
Business Development Representative

Overview Business Development Representative role at Pyramid Healthcare.
Responsibilities Generate sales while maintaining positive community/public relations.
Maintain existing accounts, expand referral base, and develop business relationships regionally and nationally.
Input into the overall company marketing plan.
Prepare reports as required.
Assist in setting financial goals for their region.
Interface with programs to understand client, program, and referral source needs.
Qualifications Overall understanding of the D&A and Mental Health Field including levels of care, primary funding streams, county funding structure, referral bases, and managed care/private insurance knowledge. Knowledge of CARF regulations.
Experience: 3-5 years in D&A and/or Mental Health; 3-5 years as a Counselor, Assessor or Community Relations in direct client care.
Preferred Job-related Behavioral Characteristics: Proven ability to work independently, high energy, highly motivated, strong customer focus, self-discipline, attention to detail and follow-through; ability to multi-task and solve problems; able to contribute to the team marketing effort.
Education: Master’s Degree in related Behavioral Health, MSW, or Business/Marketing preferred; Bachelor’s in related Behavioral Health, Business/Marketing preferred. Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office. High School Diploma required.
