Website Design & Digital Marketing Intern Up to 40 Hours Per Week Contract (On-Site) MRN Web Designs is a growing web design and development company based in Cary, North Carolina. We help clients use the internet to elevate their business to the next level. MRN offers a multitude of services ranging from custom design todigital marketing . This employment opportunity is an on-site position that will require the applicant to live in the Triangle Area and be able to commute to the office. Our interns are current students seeking to gain Digital Marketing experience. Applicants should be highly motivated and creative individuals with a strong grasp of design principles and layouts to help with work overflow. An internship at MRN Web Designs requires the desire to learn and perform a variety of tasks include, but not limited to, the following: Digital Marketing Intern Responsibilities Assist the design and development teams by creating graphics for websites that meet our client’s needs Assist in creating and refreshing website design and content Present and communicate your design decisions to stakeholders or clients, and team members Create social media graphics for a number of different platforms Client and industry research Edit photography for website and social media display Client meetings during sales and implementation Assist clients directly with the creation of webpages What You’ll Need: Must be pursuing a degree in graphic design, marketing, or a related field Experience with design tools like Figma, Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other Adobe applications A portfolio that exemplifies strong digital design experience A strong understanding of typography, layout, color, and design system principles Familiarity with web accessibility best practices Knowledgable with a variety of social media platforms You’re a conceptual thinker who can translate customer needs, behaviors, and project requirements Highly organized and detail-oriented A willingness to be flexible and a strong desire to learn WordPress experience is a plus!
