Business Development Representative - Construction MissionHires is seeking an experienced Hunter Sales Representative (Business Development Representative) on behalf of a company serving MRO, hospitality, multi-family housing, hospitals, renovation, and facilities. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of opening new accounts, nurturing stakeholder relationships, and delivering consultative, product-driven solutions. This field‑based role focuses on the Orange County area and requires strong prospecting, technical product aptitude, and exceptional customer service. Base pay range $65,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr Responsibilities Prospect, cold call, and open new accounts within target sectors Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers Contact current customers to identify cross‑sell and upsell opportunities Maintain expertise on current products and learn new product offerings Provide product information and pricing quotations; follow up on all quotes Offer technical product guidance to purchasers when applicable Develop and maintain positive, long‑term customer relationships Ensure customer satisfaction across order taking, product, pricing, deliveries, and service Collaborate closely with Sales and Service Teams to meet customer needs Perform other related duties as required Qualifications 5+ years of outside sales experience Minimum 3 years selling into Hospitality, Multi‑Family, Hospitals, Renovation, Building Superintendents, or Facility Engineers Proven hunter mentality with a track record of opening new accounts Exceptional customer service and relationship‑building skills with ability to generate referrals Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow‑up discipline Effective time management and multitasking across multiple accounts Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Self‑motivated; able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment Quick learner with demonstrated adaptability to new products and processes Familiarity with ServiceTitan (preferred) Daily reliability, punctuality, and positive attitude Ability to travel within the Orange County area; valid driver’s license Comfort with field‑based work; monthly auto allowance and fuel card provided Benefitsh3> Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Group Life Insurance and Long‑Term Disability Coverage 401(k) Retirement Plan Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays Monthly auto allowance and fuel card provided.
