C2’s client, a Milwaukee-based B2B marketing agency serving construction, heavy equipment, and industrial brands, seeks a part-time contract Digital Media Planner/Strategist to stabilize and rebuild digital media efforts across multiple client accounts. This role combines strategy and execution. Their preference is a hands‑on digital media professional who can define channel mix, allocate budgets thoughtfully, and execute campaigns directly inside platforms. Budgets are tight and tactical. Campaigns are performance‑focused, not brand‑heavy. This is a strong fit for a practical, manager‑level media professional who thrives in lean environments and can operate independently. Start Date: ASAP, interviewing starts 3/13 Duration: 10 - 20 hours/week, on‑demand and ongoing, Expect heavier workloads during the last and first weeks of each month Location: Milwaukee preferred; Chicago acceptable; Occasional onsite meetings in Milwaukee expected (initially approximately monthly) Compensation: $35 - $45/hr. Technology: Talent must provide their own hardware and software Job Description The right candidate will rebuild and document digital strategy across B2B industrial client accounts while maintaining and optimizing active campaigns across Google Ads, geofencing, and paid social, serving as both strategist and executor. Work includes building campaigns, optimizing budgets, interpreting analytics, advising the internal team, and preparing performance insights for client discussions, reporting to the Media Director and collaborating with Account Executives, a social content lead, and operations. Responsibilities Rebuild and document digital media strategy across accounts Execute and optimize small‑budget B2B Google Ads campaigns Personally build and manage geofencing campaigns, including polygon and competitor targeting Manage paid social campaigns across Facebook and LinkedIn Coordinate with internal social content lead to align paid and organic efforts Pull analytics and create clear, client‑ready performance reports Advise on channel mix and budget allocation for industrial clients Prepare concise talking points for client presentations Join client calls as needed Requirements Experience managing small‑budget B2B Google Ads accounts Strong working knowledge of paid social platforms including Facebook and LinkedIn Ability to determine channel mix for industrial or equipment‑focused clients Comfortable operating independently with limited documentation Experience supporting B2B accounts with tactical, performance‑driven campaigns Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate performance data into clear insights Available for heavier workload at month‑end and beginning of month Open to occasional onsite meetings in Milwaukee Nice to Have Experience in construction, heavy equipment, manufacturing, or industrial verticals Agency experience supporting multiple accounts simultaneously Not your type of gig, but know someone who would be interested?
