Job Summary
The Social Media Associate will be responsible for creating & posting social media content for Denver Broncos social media channels as directed by the digital media staff. This position will contribute to: creation/management of social media and vertical video content, including but not limited to posting content to X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok & Snapchat, capturing photo & video content, editing videos & graphics and tracking performance of social media content.
Duration
This is a year-long position running July 2026 through June 2027 (exact start date to be determined).
Duties & Responsibilities
Creates and publishes social media content by:
Assisting with the content creation, copy writing and publishing of social media posts across Broncos channels including Miles the Mascot and other ancillary accounts
Producing vertical videos during the NFL season and throughout the offseason calendar for emerging platforms (TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels)
Capturing video and photo content for use across Broncos channels
Helping cover team and organizational initiatives
Contributing to daily content planning and executing content assignments as directed
Ability to ideate and deliver real-time content on gamedays
Analysis of Social Media performance
Reporting of consumption and engagement trends
Tagging of content in social media analytics platform
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, digital media, communications, or similar discipline
Minimum of two years’ experience as a student working for college athletics, newspaper, television or radio station, website, sports information office, or in a communications department of a sports organization or in the sports industry

Preferred Skills & Ability
Willingness to work flexible hours (weekends, holidays, and travel)
Proven ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience in short-form editing and vertical video styled storytelling process
Understanding of social platforms (X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube etc.) and the content that is popular on those platforms
Video editing and graphic design knowledge (Adobe Creative Suite, Slate, CapCut)
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to self-edit
Knowledge of navigating popular social media platforms & trends
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary for this position is $19.29/hour.
