Assistin executing marketing and sales strategies andobjectives.
Marketing
Work with the PSC team to learnItterableand Umbracoplatformsin order tobuild, write and schedulewebsiteand email content.
Develop and execute advertising and promotional partnerships with third parties to drive incremental market exposure and volume.
Maintain up-to-date information onwebsiteincluding hours, attractions, pricing and more.
Support parkticketing needs including briefingand testing tickets.
Supportthe park’s social media programby developing ideas, capturing, and scheduling content.
Ensure all marketing, advertising & promotional activities, internal and external,exudetheHerschendFamily Entertainment core principles.
Plan and execute marketing activations for special programs and events both at the park and in the community, including grassroots guerilla marketing tactics.
Assistwith the printing and placement of in-park signage.
Support the park’s influencer program(paid and unpaid).
Arrange a full calendar of opportunities to network withprospects;representingKentucky Kingdom in the Louisville, Nashville, Indianapolis, and surrounding demographic marketing areas.
Coordinate consignmentprogramincluding servicing existing accounts, as well as cultivating new partnerships; manage relationships including ticket inventory and reconciliation, prospectingeventsand other customer retention programs.
Support execution of offsite sales events for Kentucky Kingdom.
Fulfill group sales orders including collecting payment,printingand mailing group ticket orders, including post office runs and occasional in-person ticket deliveries.
Assistwith daily catered picnics, including setting up, confirming menus,collectingand distributing tickets, and monitoring group attendees.
Prepare weekly reports and provide updates for catering meetings.
Data analysis for current programperformance;using data to create future acquisition strategies and plans.
Compile sales and activity reports, including meeting outbound call/email quota as set by the Sales Manager.
Develop sales collateral and proposals in partnership with the Sales Manager.
Coordinate and implement group marketing initiatives with the Sales Manager.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in businessor related fieldrequired.
Proficient in MS Office; Content Management Systems and website analytic programs.
Driven self-starter with a passion for meeting new people and developing relationships.
Highly organized with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to travel to attend expos and networking events both during and outside of scheduled hours.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including some weekends, evenings, and holidays
Physical Requirements
Ability to walk and stand occasionally .25 – 2.5 hours a day.
Ability to bend, sit and squat continuously 5.5 - 8 hours a day.
Physical ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds with assistance .25 – 2.5 hours a day.
Ability to continuously withstand extreme weather conditions including heat, humidity, cold, precipitation and wind up to 8 hours a day.
Ability to continuously tolerate noise and stress toaccommodatelarge numbers ofcustomers forup to 8 hours a day.
