About the role:
Responsible for developing and closing business with new and existing commercial/SLED segment customers in the assigned territory.
Qualified candidates would need to reside within/in close proximity to this market area (specifically the Denver, CO area)
What you’ll do:
Develop sales activities with commercial/SLED segment new customers; upsells and cross sells to the existing commercial customers
Develop sales pipeline by proactive calling to convert sales conversations to identified prospects
Work with regional sales team to advance opportunities to closure, including Systems Engineers to technically qualify and deliver product demonstrations
Close business in conjunction with Veeam partners (in tier‑two model)
Meet individual and team revenue targets and leverage business generated by partners with end users/customers
Drive account strategies and coordinate team selling efforts with Inside Sales Reps, Channel Partner Managers, Marketing, Sales Engineering and others to close business
Effectively execute a territory plan to maximize revenue
Enter forecasting and account/opportunity details in Veeam’s CRM (Salesforce)
Engage with Veeam Strategic Alliance partners to drive mutually beneficial revenue opportunities
Propose, coordinate and participate in marketing activities within the territory
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time within the assigned territory/region requirements
What you’ll bring:
Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent years of experience
At least three (3) years of sales, selling software through the channels and end‑users
Experience in business‑to‑business selling and managing using a consultative sales approach; demonstrated closing skills
Ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast‑paced environment
Knowledge of large distributors and value‑added resellers (VARs) is highly desired
Knowledge of the virtualization industry
Knowledge of solution selling and value‑based selling techniques
Knowledge of different sales methodologies and customer relationship management (CRM) systems
Experience with Salesforce
Microsoft Office tools knowledge/experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Compensation Transparency
Veeam is committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation. For this role, the compensation range below reflects the expected total target compensation (TTC), inclusive of base pay and a competitive performance‑based bonus. For roles with a commission plan, the compensation range represents On Target Earnings (OTE), which includes base salary plus variable commission. When determining compensation, Veeam takes into consideration factors such as experience, education, skills, and geographic zone. Offers are typically made below the midpoint of the range.

Zone 1: San Francisco Bay Area, New York City Boroughs – $222,200 – $412,500 USD
Zone 2: Washington, California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area) – $203,600 – $378,100 USD
Zone 3: Texas, Illinois, North Carolina, Colorado, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Oregon, Nevada, Hawaii, New York (excluding NYC boroughs); Sales roles located in Georgia, Ohio, and Arizona – $185,100 – $343,800 USD
Zone 4: All other U.S. locations – $161,000 – $299,000 USD
