Consultant, Proposal Manager & Writer

Overview DeVine is an adept provider of Technical and Scientific solutions for Federal, State and commercial clients. A number of our recent, and past, successes are compelling content for writing winning proposal narratives. Role Consultant, Proposal Manager & Writer must have strong analytical and problem solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a team setting. Due to the nature of our client base only U.S. Citizens may be considered for hire. The consultant must be in the greater San Diego area, and hybrid work is available. The Consultant, Proposal Manager & Writer will lead proposal development. They will help DeVine to organize the process for multiple opportunities and motivate all stakeholders for timely inputs. The successful hire will write to various opportunities in pre-proposal and RFP stages for sections that are relevant to their skills & experience. Responsibilities Close coordination with pursuit resources to ensure alignment of proposal effort to overall pursuit strategy Facilitate development of proposal strategy and win themes Ensure adherence to process and quality control standards Ensure consistency and quality of messaging Ensure compliance with customer b4s requirements and deadlines Take ownership and responsibility for the proposal process, ensuring the final proposal follows DeVine's operational goals and guidelines Support the Local, State & Federal Sales organization by managing specific sections or volumes of large, highly complex or multi-phase federal government customer proposals Contribute to enhancing internal & external relationships, information tools, infrastructure and processes Write winning proposals Skills and Experience B.A. or higher degree in Communications or English preferred 7+ years' in successful proposal writing and proposal management required Strategic business writing competence Analyzing customer RFP/requirements documents; and developing proposal resource and project plans, schedules and templates to control proposal development Track record of managing multiple proposals in a high performance environment Providing independent proposal management for moderately complex opportunities Experience writing to IT and/or science-related proposals required Must have led 2+ winning Federal proposals About the position Position Type: Consultant / Contractor / Part-Time initial work load Location: San Diego, CA Compensation: $60-$75 consultant rate range Equal Opportunity Employer We are committed to a policy of assuring that all applicants for employment are recruited, hired and assigned on the basis of qualifications and merit without discrimination based on any protected classification, including, but not limited to, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, veteran status, age, disability, handicap, marital status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable laws. #J-18808-Ljbffr
