
West Account Manager (Composites)

We’re seeking a driven Account Manager to grow and support a diverse customer base within the composites and coatings sector. This role is focused on building strong relationships, expanding market share, and creating value through strategic sales initiatives. If you thrive in a fast‑paced environment and enjoy developing solutions for customers across industrial, transportation, construction, marine, medical, and consumer markets, this could be an ideal fit.
What You’ll Do
Manage all aspects of a defined sales territory to maximize margin and revenue growth, including both direct and distributor accounts.
Build strong relationships with key decision‑makers and stakeholders at high‑priority accounts.
Proactively develop and execute sales strategies—account plans, forecasts, and tactical activities—to drive business expansion.
Lead initiatives such as price adjustments, new business development campaigns, volume growth projects, and other targeted action plans.
Partner with other Account Managers to support and grow strategically important accounts across the region.
Complete sales reports, forecasting, expense submissions, and other documentation accurately and on time.
What You Bring
Comprehensive understanding of the coatings and composites industry, including production processes and applications.
Strong command of the sales process, territory management, and relationship‑building best practices.
Proficiency with sales planning tools, data analysis—including Excel and pivot tables—and collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams; Salesforce experience is a plus.
Excellent presentation, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
Ability to analyze sales metrics, think critically, listen effectively, and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Fluency in English.
Preferred Background
Degree in Business, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in sales, technical roles, or management within relevant industries.
$120-150k base + 10% annual bonus based on overall company performance
