Role Description
This is a full-time, in-office role based in Paramus, NJ for a hybrid Commercial Lines Account Manager / Customer Service Representative. This position blends client-facing account management with day-to-day service responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
You will handle policy inquiries, process endorsements, manage renewals, and provide strategic coverage recommendations to clients. The role also includes maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring accurate policy servicing, and working closely with underwriters and carriers to secure the best solutions for each account.
We are looking for someone experienced in commercial lines who is proficient in AMS 360 and Agency Zoom. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly responsive, and thrives in a high-growth, fast-moving environment while delivering exceptional service.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in commercial lines insurance (agency-side preferred)
Proven ability to manage accounts end-to-end with minimal oversight
High proficiency in AMS 360 and Agency Zoom (required)
Strong understanding of commercial coverages, especially within hospitality (restaurants, bars, hotels)
Ability to handle endorsements, renewals, certificates, and policy servicing with speed and precision
Experience working directly with underwriters and carriers to negotiate terms and pricing
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills with a client‑first, white‑glove service mindset
Highly organized, accountable, and able to operate under pressure without sacrificing quality
Proactive problem‑solver who can identify coverage gaps and recommend strategic solutions
Bonus Points
Experience with large hospitality schedules or program business
Familiarity with surplus lines and complex risk placement
Prior experience in a high‑growth or startup‑style agency environment
