This position is considered hybrid for candidates living in the Rochester, NY area. The Programmatic Specialist is responsible for supporting channel strategy, execution and stewardship of effective programmatic campaigns on behalf of a major, high-profile advertiser. This individual will have experience with campaign management, programmatic execution, and has hands-on experience in self-serve advertising platforms. Experience executing various campaign types including online display, video, and audio, in an agency environment is required. This Programmatic Specialist will have a firm grasp and ability to navigate intricacies of hyper targeted, complex campaigns as well as an understanding of basic digital metrics and calculations, media measurement, terminology, and how these impact delivery and performance. The nature of this role requires extreme attention to detail and above average data management skills, heavily leveraging Microsoft Excel, to ensure correct application of a large amount of campaign parameters and for performance monitoring and reporting. This Programmatic Specialist will possess knowledge of ad serving technology and an emerging understanding of supply chain partnerships in the programmatic ecosystem. They are comfortable participating in client meetings and possess knowledge of trends and new partnerships. KEY OUTCOMES & RESPONSIBILITIES Key Outcome: Planning, Strategy, and Programmatic Expertise Development Key Responsibilities: Kick off the planning process by working cross functionally with Channel Manager, Integrated Planning and Account teams. Provide guidance and answer questions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights, identify new opportunities, and provide strategic recommendations and optimizations that exceed campaign benchmarks and align with client goals and challenges Continuously analyze key performance metrics to measure effectiveness of campaign initiatives. Support materials like POVs and other thought leadership to educate internal and client stakeholders on strategy shifts, account restructuring etc. Stay updated on the latest paid programmatic tools, applications, and strategies, providing client-relevant research, analysis and trends. Key Outcome: Effective Campaign Management and Performance Optimization Key Responsibilities: Manage and execute programmatic campaigns across display, audio, video, and digital out of home ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines while ensuring KPIs are met or exceeded. QA campaigns to ensure accuracy and proactively troubleshooting any errors or mismatches. Bring forward suggestions on campaign optimizations; addressing delivery toward campaign objectives through best practices within bid management, audience and placement analysis, and performance tracking of key KPIs. Conduct ongoing delivery pacing checks and provide comprehensive weekly, monthly, and campaign wrap-up reports. Develop and maintain positive relationships with digital media partners, ensuring effective collaboration and communication. Support in the communication, evaluation, and implementation of programmatic media partners, technology, and platforms, including Private Marketplace (PMP) and Programmatic Guaranteed (PG) deals. Key Outcome: Data-driven Insights and Reporting Key Responsibilities: Leverage advanced Excel functions (Pivot Tables, VLookups, Concatenates, and IF statements) to gather, analyze, and articulate mid-level insights on campaign performance to maximize results. Accurate QA of all data including PowerBI models. Ability to address questions, articulating campaign performance and trend analysis to internal and external parties via detailed written and verbal summaries. Monitor performance against measurement frameworks and push for higher quality delivery by evaluating delivery, audience analysis, supply path optimization, and placement performance. Manage multiple client campaigns, ensuring high-quality performance, and results that align with our client’s business objectives. Maintain accurate documentation of changes, trends, and learnings to inform future campaign strategy and optimization. Other Responsibilities May need to perform other responsibilities and tasks as requested QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED – Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or equivalent work experience Minimum 2-4 years of experience managing campaigns in the digital marketing ecosystem High level of proficiency in Excel, being able to create &/or utilize formulas, VLookups, concatenate and other functions PREFERRED – Experience in hands on execution of advertising within biddable platforms (programmatic, paid search, paid social, media operations, ad operations, etc.). Experience in strategic planning and applied experience of bringing plans to execution. Experience involving heavy utilization of MS Excel (or similar tools) to manage large amounts of data with precision and accuracy. Proven track record in operating with a high-level of integrity, commitment, and enthusiasm to take on a challenging role with cross-functional commitments. COMPENSATION Butler/Till is committed to providing pay transparency of our compensation philosophy and ensuring equitable pay practices for our employee owners. The compensation range for this position is $49,000- $69,000 and represents the annual salary range in Rochester, NY. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. Butler/Till is also a Community Champion and partners with the Bureau, the Government Office, and several other entities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including ESOP (employee stock ownership plan), an annual bonus, in addition to a full benefits package, and paid time off benefits, including 100% paid parental leave.
