US Office, Phoenix/ Remote/ Fixed Term 4 – 6 months/ SALARY: COMPETITIVE Job Purpose We’re looking for a creative and adaptable Social Media Strategist (Part‑Time / Contractor) to support our brand’s social presence in partnership with our external social agency. This role will focus on strategic support, community management, and supplemental content creation, influencer/creator partnerships. You’ll balance creative storytelling with data-driven insights to help strengthen engagement and elevate our brand across platforms. Key Responsibilities This role deals with a wide variety of tasks including, but not limited to the following: Work collaboratively with our social agency to support and refine platform strategies and ensure consistency on individual brands. Review and provide feedback on agency-developed content, calendars, and social concepts to ensure alignment with brand voice and objectives. Create additional content not covered by the agency, including Stories, Reels, TikToks, behind‑the‑scenes content, reactive moments, and short‑form visual assets, etc. Lead select influencer & creator (UGC) initiatives internally – supporting with outreach, briefing, content reviews, and performance tracking when not handled by the agency, including nurturing creator relationships. Collaborate with brand, creative, and digital teams to ensure consistency across paid, owned, and earned social channels. Manage community engagement, including responding to comments and DMs, identifying opportunities for meaningful interaction, and fostering brand advocates. Any other duties commensurate with the level of responsibility of this role. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Competencies sought: 3+ years experience managing social media for a brand, agency, or startup. Proven ability to concept and produce engaging social content, especially Stories and short‑form video. Strong understanding of platform best practices, content trends, analytics, and cultural moments. Hands‑on experience with photo, video, and copy creation using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, or similar. Experience supporting influencer and creator campaigns, UGC workflows, or talent management processes. Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently, manage fast‑moving workflows, and produce quick‑turn content. Experience working with or alongside social media agencies is a plus. Willingness to travel occasionally for shoots, events, or content needs. Is this role for you?
