Business Development Representative (BDR) Remote | United States We’re a startup on a mission to help enterprise IT infrastructure teams get active everywhere, and we need YOUR energy and passion to help us spread the word. As our newest Business Development Representative , you’ll join an already high-functioning BDR team hunting for leads, qualifying prospects, and nurturing relationships. If you get pumped from connecting with IT professionals and love the camaraderie of a collaborative team, this is your place. Your expertise will be crucial in communicating the value of our solution to technical buyers facing challenges with data movement. Responsibilities Investigate and identify the right ICP within complex, technical industries Build highly targeted prospect lists using industry-standard sales prospecting software Research highly technical industries to create and execute personalized, high-impact outreach Become a master of the phone and email to qualify leads Setting up sales team members with qualified appointments and demos Follow-up with leads and existing customers to ensure a positive customer Keep CRM data accurate and up-to-date Collaborate on prospecting efforts with cross-functional departments (Sales, Product, Marketing) Brainstorm with the team on how to take over the world (or at least the world of data movement) Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced startup environment Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field 3-5 years of experience in outbound sales, marketing, or a related field Strong written communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented and highly organized Bonus points if you can navigate CRM systems and marketing tools like a boss A strong background or understanding of storage and infrastructure and why high-performance data movement is critical This position is remote for candidates who are located near the Greater Chicago area or similar metro areas in the central United States and Los Angeles or similar metro areas in western United States. Compensation and Benefits The compensation for this role is a base salary plus a performance-based commission structure. Competitive base salary of $50,000–$80,000 Performance measured through a balanced KPI approach Clear, achievable quarterly targets Opportunity to grow into senior BDR or Account Executive roles The base salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location.
