Overview Lead marketing function in a cross functional new product development, by researching and providing user requirements and their revision during all cycles of development for Thulium Fiber Laser products; develop GUI requirements; collaborate with product development team to design the concept with detailed functions for the next generation of accessories, such as endoscopes and disposables; conduct voice of customer and usability studies; Lead new product introductions, including strategic segmentation, positioning, pricing, promotion, training and education programs; coordinate with and support marketing program with distributors and commercial partners in Urology; Plan and coordinate local commercial launches with distributor and commercial partners; design and conduct training and educational programs; drive equipment sales along with collaborative efforts for disposables, provide marketing input and coordinate marketing program of distributor and commercial partners in Urology; Propose designs, generate content and drive continuous improvement of the company’s website; Collaborate with local Key Opinion Leaders on initiatives, such as design validation, speaking engagements, clinical studies, testimonials, and training workshops; Generate market intelligence for pursuing new pre-clinical and clinical research with the company’s proprietary Thulium Fiber Laser technology. Up to 20% domestic and international travel required; must be within normal commuting distance of Marlborough, MA. Responsibilities Lead marketing activities for cross functional new product development of Thulium Fiber Laser products, including gathering user requirements and revisions across development cycles. Develop GUI requirements and collaborate with product development to design concepts and detailed functions for next generation accessories (e.g., endoscopes and disposables). Conduct voice of customer and usability studies to inform product design and marketing strategy. Lead new product introductions, including segmentation, positioning, pricing, promotion, training and education programs. Coordinate with distributors and commercial partners in Urology; plan and coordinate local commercial launches with distributors and partners. Design and conduct training and educational programs for internal teams and customers. Drive equipment sales and collaborate on disposables; provide marketing input and coordinate marketing programs with distributors and partners in Urology. Propose designs, generate content and drive continuous improvement of the company website. Collaborate with local Key Opinion Leaders on initiatives such as design validation, speaking engagements, clinical studies, testimonials, and training workshops. Generate market intelligence for pursuing new pre-clinical and clinical research related to the company’s Thulium Fiber Laser technology. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, International Business or related field or foreign equivalent degree. 5 years of related experience. Required Skills: Knowledge of thulium fiber laser light-tissue interaction and its impact on urological treatments (e.g., BPH enucleation, bladder cancer resection, urothelial carcinoma vaporization, lithotripsy) to communicate benefits and capabilities to healthcare professionals in regular communications and in OR demos, thereby enhancing product adoption and driving sales in the urological medical device market. Knowledge of instruments used in laser urological procedures (e.g., endoscopes and disposables) to participate in development of integrated solutions that improve procedure efficiency, reduce complications, and increase customer satisfaction. Ability to establish and manage relationships with urologists and Key Opinion Leaders to train them on fiber laser characteristics, conduct clinical trainings and studies, participate in surgeries, and prepare results for scientific publications. Experience providing cross-functional new product development support by researching user requirements, prioritizing features, conducting voice of customer and usability studies, analyzing materials, benchmarking, and creating educational marketing content. Knowledge of market analysis methodologies and statistical techniques (e.g., regression analysis, conjoint analysis, CLV) to identify trends and patterns.
