As a Strategic Account Executive (SAE), you will serve as the senior‑level liaison for PBM clients within the Employer‑Coalition Business Unit. You will interface with leadership both internally and externally and grow our business through renewal, retention, and upsell of existing clients. You will accomplish this through leading the strategic account team, developing relationships, collaborating with internal teams, consultative selling, reporting, RFP responses, and executing client renewals. Responsibilities Lead the strategic account team (account management, clinical, operations) as the quarterback, owning client satisfaction and service delivery. Develop strong internal and client relationships through proactive interactions and effective verbal and written communication skills. Collaborate with internal teams including medical, account management, clinical, product, operations, and underwriting. Use consultative selling skills to recommend CVS Health solutions that meet key client needs and influence upsell opportunities. Deliver quarterly and annual reporting to clients on drug trends, financial performance, and cost‑saving opportunities. Formulate responses to RFPs in collaboration with underwriting, networks, operations, trade, and legal. Execute client renewals by building relationships with key stakeholders and using probing questions to design innovative pharmacy benefit plans that benefit both the client and CVS Health. Drive revenue growth and achieve above‑average client satisfaction scores while influencing others to deliver results for your client. This position can be located anywhere in the Central U.S. and may be worked remotely or in a CVS Corporate Hub. You must be able to travel up to 40% of the time, including flights, overnight stays, local travel, and short‑notice travel as required by the company. Required Qualifications 7+ years of related work experience. 3 years of cumulative account management or equivalent client‑facing experience in healthcare. Valid and current driver’s license. Reliable personal vehicle that is appropriately insured. Preferred Qualifications PBM account manager or account executive experience managing complex relationships. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range $75,500.00 – $158,304.00. This range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
