Full‑time: Monday‑Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
RP America is an industry leader that specializes in sales of industrial 3D printers, materials and accessories, and is a leading expert in large‑format polymer additive manufacturing. We are seeking a motivated full‑time Sales Account Manager to join our dynamic team.
NOTE: This is an in‑person role at our headquarters near New Sharon, Iowa. Applicants should reside within a 40‑mile radius of New Sharon, IA.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with RP America, the top service distributor in Additive Manufacturing. We operate within North America and are looking to add to our growing team.
Responsibilities
Generate revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders, understanding and interpreting technical requirements, providing technical information, and developing accounts.
Assess competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends and identifying sales opportunities.
Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, solicitingnew accounts, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, and preparing quotations.
Close new accounts by answering telephone, fax, and e‑mail inquiries and verifying and entering information.
Fill orders by transferring orders to fulfillment, communicating expected delivery date, and explaining stock‑outs.
Develop accounts by checking customer’s buying history, suggesting related and new items, and explaining technical features.
Maintain and improve quality results by following standards and recommending improved policies and procedures.
Update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities.
Accomplish department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.

Requirements
2 – 3 years of high‑level sales experience in additive manufacturing.
Strong technical sales skills with the ability to understand the needs of our customers and promote our best‑in‑class products.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
Ability to analyze data and market trends for strategic decision‑making.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, with ability to type at least 50 wpm with 95% accuracy.
Strong proficiency in computer usage, email and other office and phone systems.

Actual pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, job function, work experience, specialized skills, training, education, and certifications.
