Job Description
NBC Bay Area, the NBC Owned station for the San Francisco Bay Area, is seeking a Photographer/Editor for its weekday lifestyle morning show California Live as well as Telemundo 48’s Acceso Total .
Responsibilities
Shoot and edit high-quality video, interviews, and story packages
Shoot and edit specific digital/social content and promotional materials
Set up and operate microphones and monitor audio levels
Set up and operate lighting equipment
Set up and shoot live, on-location segments
Perform work under pressure with multiple, daily deadlines
Collaborate with field producer and correspondent on assignments
Gather video and interviews independently as needed
Troubleshoot technical issues in the field
Ability to shoot and edit videos native to social media platforms
Desired Skills
Creative storyteller capable of producing engaging and entertaining content
Experience with commercial production and/or video sales integrations
Proficient in After Effects to create text treatments and animations
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in news videography / field editing in a top 10 marketing OR television show videography and editing
Ability to operate a microwave live truck and portable microwave gear
Must be knowledgeable of ENG field operations
Must be proficient using non-linear editing equipment under deadline pressure
Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds of equipment at a given time – including camera, lighting kit, cable reel, and portable TVU, LiveU, Dejero units
Must have strong understanding of computer/IT workflows
Must understand File Transfer Protocols
Must be willing to travel, often with short notice

Additional Requirements
Required On-Site : This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000
