We are seeking a Business Development Representative to expand Proficio’s footprint across Salt Lake City and South Jordan. This role focuses on building strong referral networks, increasing brand visibility, and driving client growth across both clinics. The ideal candidate is relationship‑driven, proactive, and comfortable engaging with pediatricians, preschools, public schools, and insurance partners. This is an in‑person, community‑focused role requiring regular travel across the Salt Lake Valley.
Key Responsibilities
Referral & Community Outreach
Build and maintain strong relationships with pediatricians, family medicine providers, developmental specialists, preschools, public schools, and community organizations
Conduct regular outreach visits to promote Proficio’s ABA, Speech, and OT services
Represent Proficio at community events, resource fairs, school meetings, and professional gatherings
Develop referral pipelines for both the Salt Lake City ABA clinic and the new South Jordan multidisciplinary clinic
Insurance & Provider Relations
Strengthen relationships with insurance case managers, care coordinators, and provider networks to increase referral flow
Support families and clinics by ensuring smooth communication with insurance partners
Clinic Growth Support
Partner with Clinic Directors and operational teams to understand capacity, service offerings, and growth goals
Identify new partnership opportunities in surrounding cities and emerging communities
Support launch activities for the South Jordan clinic, including outreach campaigns and community awareness efforts
Marketing & Brand Visibility
Collaborate with the marketing team to gather local stories, photos, and content that highlight clinic impact
Ensure consistent brand representation across all outreach activities
Provide feedback on local trends, community needs, and competitive insights
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Maintain strong communication with leadership, clinical teams, and business development leadership
Participate in weekly or monthly strategy meetings to review progress and refine outreach plans
Track outreach activities, follow‑ups, and referral outcomes to support data‑driven decision‑making
Qualifications
Experience in business development, community outreach, healthcare marketing, or related fields preferred
Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
Comfortable presenting to groups and engaging with diverse community partners
Organized, self‑driven, and able to manage outreach schedules independently
Passion for serving children and families; alignment with Proficio’s mission and values
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel across the Salt Lake Valley
Work Model
Primarily in‑person across Salt Lake City, South Jordan, and surrounding communities
