Recruiting on behalf of a confidential steel service center client Account Executive — Outside Sales Work Setting: Remote, up to 75% travel within assigned territory; seeking candidates within the state of Florida | Base $85K– $100K+ + Commission | Direct Hire About the Opportunity RL Enterprise Recruiting & Staffing is partnering with a leading steel service center to find a driven Account Executive to grow their Florida territory. This is a full-time, outside sales role where your expertise and energy will directly impact revenue and customer satisfaction. Why This Role Remote flexibility with up to 75% travel within the Florida territory Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan with 100% employer match Life Insurance and Disability Insurance Paid Parental Leave, PTO, and Paid Holidays High-visibility role with immediate impact — strengthen market position in a competitive industry What You'll Do Build and strengthen customer relationships through on-site visits, needs assessments, and consultative selling Develop and execute territory sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability goals Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned markets Manage existing accounts to ensure retention, satisfaction, and growth Present the company's products and value-added services to educate and influence purchasing decisions Analyze account performance and develop strategies to increase sales and market share Collaborate with internal teams — including operations, procurement, and customer service — to deliver seamless customer experiences Prepare and maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and customer documentation Represent the company at trade shows, product seminars, and industry events Stay informed on steel market trends and competitive activity Other job-related duties and special projects as assigned Who We're Looking For Education & Experience: Degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience Minimum 4 years of consultative sales experience, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing setting Minimum 2 years of outside sales experience in steel, metals, or a related industry Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Windows-based applications Skills & Attributes: Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a competitive market Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Strong relationship builder who connects authentically with customers Strategic, self-motivated, and able to work independently with sound judgment Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively Additional Requirements: Ability to work outside normal business hours as needed Proven ability to work efficiently from a home office setting Willingness to travel up to 75% within the assigned Florida territory Equal Opportunity Employer Our client is committed to creating an inclusive environment where diverse voices are welcomed at every level of the organization.
