At Advisors Excel, we’re looking for an Advertising Research Specialist who thrives at the intersection of innovation, analysis, and strategy. In this role, you’ll help shape the future of our marketing and media efforts by identifying new opportunities, testing new strategies, and providing key insights that drive advisor growth. This role is situated in Topeka, Kansas, and it is exclusively an on-site work arrangement. Additionally, please note that the company does not extend sponsorship opportunities at this time. What you’ll do Assist in the planning and coordination of pilot campaigns, applying a test-and-learn approach to validate hypotheses and drive iterative improvements Maintain project momentum by tracking timelines, anticipating roadblocks, and driving initiatives forward to completion Collaborate with internal teams (Media, CSG, Digital, etc.) to ensure tests are executed effectively Coordinate with external vendors and partners to support campaign or pilot execution Analyze and interpret campaign performance data, identifying actionable insights and success indicators Communicate research findings and campaign results to key stakeholders, including clients and executive leadership, translating data into clear narratives that inform strategy Support smooth handoff of validated initiatives to operational teams Conduct research on emerging media platforms, marketing tools, and campaign strategies Maintain awareness of marketing trends, compliance standards, and platform best practices Evaluate ideas from internal teams and leadership, contributing to the prioritization of the R&D roadmap Experience you’ll bring 2+ years of experience in media, advertising, research, or a related field Strong research and critical thinking skills Naturally curious, self-motivated, and driven to continuously learn Ability to translate data into actionable insights Comfort working across multiple projects with shifting priorities Proactive in seeking solutions and collaborating across teams Strong written communication and presentation skills Organized and process-oriented with strong documentation skills Bonus Points Experience with designing and executing campaign testing (ex.
