Overview It’s an exciting time to be on Amazon’s Video Shopping (ASV) team. Customers watch videos when they shop, and videos and livestreams make shopping easier and more fun, whether they’re researching a product or tuning in to chat with their favorite content creator live. The Amazon Shopping Video (ASV) team’s mission is to enable customers to find inspiration, information, entertainment, and community through videos at any point in their shopping journey. We are passionate about designing, building, and launching scalable, well‑designed customer experiences that delight our customers. Key Job Responsibilities Customer‑Centric Design & Strategy – Analyze customer problems across multiple touchpoints and design delightful solutions with measurable impact that create cohesive experiences across amazon.com/live and other amazon.com store pages. Develop and execute design strategy that unifies customer journeys across Amazon Live’s diverse experience portfolio. Apply deep customer empathy to understand shopper needs and translate insights into innovative design solutions. Design Execution & Innovation Work closely with product and business teams to develop use cases and high‑level requirements for cross‑page experiences. Create comprehensive design artifacts including user flows, wireframes, visual mocks, and prototypes to communicate strategic design vision. Develop and maintain detailed user‑interface and interaction specifications that ensure consistency across multiple customer touchpoints. Relentlessly simplify and distill complex, multi‑page workflows into intuitive and elegant UI. Leadership & Collaboration Be a strong design advocate across the entire Amazon Live team and a bar raiser for quality of customer experience. Independently present work, socialize ideas, and manage stakeholder expectations across multiple product areas. Drive creative vision that raises the bar and delivers innovative solutions across the customer journey. Impact & Measurement Measure the success and effectiveness of UX innovations across experiences. Use data and customer feedback to iterate and improve designs that span multiple pages and touchpoints. About the Team Amazon Shopping Videos (ASV) is a growing business within the Amazon Advertising, IMDb, and Grand Challenge (AIGC) business unit. The Amazon Live team designs, builds, and operates both owned and operated destination experiences (e.g., amazon.com/live, Shop The Show) and federated experiences across the Amazon.com store. It also sources shoppable Live and VOD content from brands and influencers to populate both types of experiences. The team operates with a dynamic, startup‑like initiative that aims to reinvent how customers use video to shop. Basic Qualifications 8+ years of design experience Available online portfolio Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar Preferred Qualifications Experience applying scrum to visual or UX design processes Experience with UX design of complex workflows Experience acquiring user data (e.g., conducting usability studies, performing user research) and creating personas and journey maps Compensation & Benefits The base salary range for this position is 155,400.00 – 210,300.00 USD annually. The Amazon package includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
