Position Description
The Marketing Coordinator supports the execution of Signal Financial's marketing initiatives by coordinating campaigns, producing marketing materials, and maintaining organized marketing operations. This role works closely with marketing leadership and internal teams to ensure marketing efforts are delivered on time, on brand, and with attention to detail. The Marketing Coordinator focuses on campaign support, email coordination, asset management, and cross-functional collaboration. This position plays a key role in maintaining consistency, accuracy, and efficiency across Signal's marketing communications.
Position Responsibilities
Marketing Execution & Campaign Support
Participate in the development and timely execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns supporting credit union products, services, and strategic priorities
Translate high-level brand and campaign strategy into actionable creative and execution support
Coordinate campaign timelines, creative assets, stakeholder reviews, and cross-functional alignment to ensure on-time delivery
Work closely with internal teams and external partners including designers, vendors, and agencies to support campaign execution
Assist with the development, coordination, production, editing, proofing, and delivery of digital and print marketing campaigns
Support monitoring of campaign performance and assist in identifying optimization opportunities based on performance data
Email Marketing & Digital Support
Support email marketing campaigns, including setup, scheduling, testing, and deployment
Assist with email content updates, formatting, and quality assurance
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure email communications are accurate, timely, and aligned with campaign objectives
Experience working with Alkami or similar digital banking platforms is a plus
Collaborate with the supervisor and VP to support integration of available data sources to improve targeting and efficiency. Experience in Feathr, SavvyMoney, and Segmint is a plus.
Brand & Content Support
Design and update marketing materials using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (digital graphics, flyers, signage, and basic print materials)
Ensure consistent brand voice, tone, and visual standards across all materials
Support copy edits and content updates for campaigns and internal communications
Coordination & Collaboration
Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to support marketing initiatives
Support communication between Marketing, Retail, Digital, and Operations teams
Assist with managing marketing calendars, deadlines, and project timelines
Flag risks, errors, or delays and elevate as needed
Marketing Operations & Quality Control
Assist with tracking campaign activity and maintaining accurate records
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail across all marketing deliverables
Support ongoing organization and process improvements within the marketing function
Contribute to a collaborative, professional workplace culture aligned with Signal's values
Community Engagement & Marketing Support
Support community engagement and outreach efforts by assisting with the planning, promotion, and follow-up of marketing-led events and activations.
Participate in select community events to support on-site marketing execution, including event setup, materials distribution, lead capture coordination, and post-event follow-up support.
Collaborate with the Community Engagement Coordinator and Digital Marketing Specialist to ensure events are promoted through email, online banking banners, social, and other marketing channels.
Assist in preparing event-related marketing materials, signage, and digital assets aligned with current campaigns and brand standards.
Help document event outcomes, including attendance, lead capture, and engagement insights, and support reporting back to leadership.
Ensure community engagement efforts are integrated into the broader marketing calendar and support membership growth and awareness objectives.
Position Requirements
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field (preferred)
1-3 years of experience in marketing coordination, campaign support, or related roles
Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Experience supporting email marketing campaigns; familiarity with Feathr, Segmint, Alkami is a plus
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Self-motivated, reliable, and professional
