Position Overview
The Business Development / Sales professional will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities within aviation, commercial, and hospitality sectors.
This role directly contributes to revenue growth, contract acquisition, and market expansion. The ideal candidate understands structured service environments and has experience pursuing and securing federal, state, and local government contracts.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within aviation, commercial, hospitality, and government sectors
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue and contract acquisition targets
Generate qualified leads through industry networking, cold outreach, relationship building, and market research
Prepare and deliver professional proposals, RFP responses, and formal tenders (including federal, state, and municipal bids)
Negotiate contracts and close high‑value service agreements
Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key decision‑makers
Monitor market trends, procurement pipelines, and competitor positioning
Collaborate with operations teams to ensure successful contract launch and execution
Represent Guardian Professional Services at industry events and procurement forums
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
3–5+ years of proven business development or sales experience
Demonstrated experience working with federal, state, and local government contracts (required)
Strong background in aviation services, facility management, cleaning services, or hospitality (highly preferred)
Experience responding to RFPs, RFQs, and formal bid processes
Track record of closing contracts and achieving revenue targets
Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
