Responsibilities Plan, write, design, and produce high‑impact and creative responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Qualifications (RFQs) Plan, strategize, and create outlines/content/slide decks for client interviews; provide presentation coaching and feedback to Messer’s subject matter experts Translate complex strategies and technical subject matter into engaging, audience‑friendly messaging that communicates Messer’s values and benefits Create and maintain sales documents/media, including (but not limited to) project description sheets, employee bios, and project award submissions Provide coaching and project support to teammates within the department Provide strategic counsel and support to business development representatives across the company (with a focus on Messer’s Southeast offices) during pursuits Conduct research to support the sales process Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Electronic Media, Marketing, Communications or related discipline. 7+ years of experience preferred; working in a Marketing/Communications/Sales type role. Experience responding to Requests for Proposals / Requests for Qualifications. Knowledge of Adobe InDesign and other Creative Suite applications a plus (Mac environment). Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees. Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of construction industry a plus.
