
Account Manager - Purchasing Card

Overview
This is a remote role that will only be hired in the following location(s): North Carolina, South Carolina, Arizona, Pennsylvania, and Texas.
The Account Manager - Purchasing Card is responsible for monitoring credit utilization and working directly with clients to increase annual spend on their First Citizens Purchasing Card. Utilizes various tools to create action plans that transition client payables over to the Purchasing Card. Increases spend, and subsequently interchange income, through multiple client relationships simultaneously to maximize profitability for the Bank's Purchasing Card program. Provides ongoing relationship management for purchasing card clients and other duties as needed.
Responsibilities
Sales - Monitors credit utilization in client accounts and identifies sales opportunities. Aids management in the support of new sales. Collaborates with wider business unit on overall support efforts to achieve department profitability goals.
Client Service - Assists in managing complex service issues and client setups. Answers inquiries, resolves issues, and performs other operational tasks as needed.
Business Support - Maintains a strong knowledge of purchasing card products, vendors, processing systems, and related topics in order to provide expert recommendations to clients. Facilitates the identification and on-boarding of vendors as selected by clients. May assist with special projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Treasury Management Purchasing Card Account Development and Financial Services
OR
High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Treasury Management Purchasing Card Account Development and Financial Services
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Purchase Cards
Knowledge of credit card products and 3rd party card processing systems such as First Data, Familiar with Accounts Payable systems and software
Proven track record growing client Purchasing Card spend
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Experience with industry benchmarking tools i.e. Visa, McKinsey, Institute of Commercial Payments
