What began as street-level sales in New York City has grown into a global community, with a permanent retail presence and increasing demand across both direct-to-consumer and wholesale channels. Chamberlin New York has received recognition from the Fashion Group International Rising Stars Awards and continues to expand its footprint across the United States and internationally.
We are now building out our wholesale division to place Chamberlin New York in the most influential stores in the country.
This is a commission-based role for a Wholesale Account Executive (U.S.), focused on driving wholesale growth across key domestic markets including New York, Los Angeles, Miami, and other leading retail hubs.
This role is responsible for opening new wholesale accounts, building long-term retail partnerships, and consistently placing Chamberlin New York in top-tier stores across the United States.
You will be expected to:
- Identify, pitch, and secure new wholesale accounts (boutiques, department stores, and concept shops)
- Present seasonal collections and line sheets to buyers
- Negotiate orders and close wholesale deals
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with retail partners
- Drive reorders and sustained account growth
- Actively prospect and manage a pipeline of target stores
- Represent the brand with a deep understanding of its identity, positioning, and product
This is a high-performance, commission-driven role with significant upside tied directly to revenue generated.
- Proven experience in fashion wholesale, retail sales, or apparel sales
- Existing relationships with U.S. buyers, boutiques, or retail decision-makers is highly preferred
- Demonstrated track record of closing deals and generating wholesale revenue
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized, self-directed, and results-driven
- Deep understanding of the U.S. fashion and retail landscape
- Ability to operate independently and drive results without constant oversight
This is a commission-based role with high earning potential tied directly to performance.
- Commission Structure:
- 12% on monthly wholesale sales up to $25,000
- 15% on monthly wholesale sales between $25,001–$75,000
- 18% on monthly wholesale sales above $75,000
- New Account Bonus:
- $250 per new wholesale account opened (paid after first completed order)
- Monthly Performance Bonuses:
- $1,000 bonus at $50,000 in monthly sales
- $3,000 bonus at $100,000+ in monthly sales
- Key Account Bonus:
- $2,000–$5,000 for securing top-tier U.S. retail partners
- Ongoing Earnings:
- Commission paid on both initial orders and reorders for accounts opened by the representative (within a defined period)
Earning Potential Examples- $50,000/month in sales → ~$8,500–$10,000+ earnings
- $100,000/month in sales → $18,000–$22,000+ earnings
- Independent contractor (1099)
- Commission paid on collected revenue (not just orders placed)
