
Senior Account Manager

THE ROLE
The Senior Account Manager will take ownership of a portfolio of customers, focusing on building trusted relationships and driving long-term business growth. This position requires a commercially minded individual who can identify new opportunities within existing accounts, provide excellent service, and coordinate effectively with internal departments. Success in this role comes from a combination of sales expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned customers
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand business within existing accounts
- Partner with internal teams across sales, operations, and purchasing to ensure smooth execution of customer needs
- Consistently meet or exceed sales and account growth targets
- Maintain regular communication with customers through calls, emails, and virtual meetings
- Travel as needed to strengthen relationships and support business objectives
- Provide insights from customers and the market to help shape business strategy
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years in sales or account management, ideally in electronics or distribution
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets
- Proficient in CRM tools and sales systems
- Highly organized and proactive
- Willingness to travel occasionally
