THE ROLE


The Senior Account Manager will take ownership of a portfolio of customers, focusing on building trusted relationships and driving long-term business growth. This position requires a commercially minded individual who can identify new opportunities within existing accounts, provide excellent service, and coordinate effectively with internal departments. Success in this role comes from a combination of sales expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.


RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned customers
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand business within existing accounts
  • Partner with internal teams across sales, operations, and purchasing to ensure smooth execution of customer needs
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales and account growth targets
  • Maintain regular communication with customers through calls, emails, and virtual meetings
  • Travel as needed to strengthen relationships and support business objectives
  • Provide insights from customers and the market to help shape business strategy


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE


  • 3+ years in sales or account management, ideally in electronics or distribution
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets
  • Proficient in CRM tools and sales systems
  • Highly organized and proactive
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
