Location: Knoxville, TN (In-Office with limited travel)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Pay: $90,000 – $110,000


Position Overview

M Force Partners is seeking a client-focused Employee Benefits Account Executive to support and manage a portfolio of employee benefits accounts for a growing insurance organization in Knoxville, TN. This Employee Benefits Account Executive role is ideal for a strategic professional who thrives in a relationship-driven environment and has experience working with brokers, business leaders, and internal teams to deliver tailored benefits solutions.


The Employee Benefits Account Executive will play a key role in managing complex client accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, and developing innovative strategies to support evolving employee benefits programs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of mid-size to large employee benefits clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with brokers and client leadership to develop and implement strategic benefits solutions
  • Analyze current benefits plans and recommend improvements based on client goals, market trends, and cost considerations
  • Lead client meetings including renewals, plan reviews, and strategy discussions
  • Coordinate with internal teams including underwriting, service, and claims to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Oversee the renewal process including negotiating terms and presenting options to clients
  • Monitor account performance and identify opportunities for optimization
  • Stay informed on industry trends, compliance updates, and emerging benefits strategies
  • Deliver exceptional client service while managing multiple high-value accounts


Required Qualifications

  • 3–7+ years of experience in employee benefits, insurance, or account management
  • Proven experience managing large or complex client accounts
  • Strong understanding of group benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to analyze benefits data and translate insights into strategic recommendations
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with brokers or benefits consultants
  • Knowledge of compliance regulations including ACA and ERISA
  • Active insurance license or ability to obtain
